Jeannine Freeman is the Elementary Digital Learning Coach for Fort Sam Houston ISD. This is her 10th year in education. She has previously worked as a director of digital learning, district instructional technology specialist and a first grade teacher. Jeannine earned her M.Ed. in Educational Technology from the University of Texas at Brownsville. Additionally, she has Master Technology Teacher, ESL, and Special Education certificates.
Jeannine is a recent recipient of the International Society for Technology in Education's Making IT Happen award. She is currently serving as the President of TEC-SIG, a special interest group in TCEA for technology coordinators. She has also served on the steering committees for ISTE
2017, TCEA 2017-2020, EdCampSA, Technado, Google Summit, and Tech Field Day. She has presented at many district-wide, regional, state-wide, and international conferences to include ISTE, TCEA, The Elementary Technology Conference, Google Summit, TEC-SIG, TCEA Chromebook Academy, Tech Field Day, Technado, Tech Fiesta, and Tech-a-Palooza.
In her free time, Jeannine enjoys watching entire series on Netflix, country dancing, spending time with her 4 nieces and nephews, and relaxing with friends and family.
