Jeannine Freeman is the Elementary Digital Learning Coach for Fort Sam Houston ISD. This is her 11th year in education. She has previously worked as a director of digital learning, district instructional technology specialist and a first grade teacher. Jeannine earned her M.Ed. in Educational Technology from the University of Texas at Brownsville. Additionally, she has Master Technology Teacher, ESL, and Special Education certificates.
Jeannine is the 2019 recipient of the International Society for Technology in Education's TCEA Affiliate Making IT Happen award. She is currently serving as the President of TEC-SIG, a special interest group in TCEA for technology coordinators. She has also served on the steering committees for
ISTE 2017 and 2021, TCEA 2017-2020, EdCampSA, Technado, Google Summit, and Tech Field Day. She has presented at many district-wide, regional, state-wide, and international conferences to include ISTE, TCEA, The Elementary Technology Conference, Google Summit, TEC-SIG, TCEA Chromebook Academy, Tech Field Day, Technado, Tech Fiesta, and Tech-a-Palooza.
In her free time, Jeannine enjoys watching entire series on Netflix, country dancing, spending time with her 4 nieces and nephews, and relaxing with friends and family.
